Louis Vuitton Interviews

Collecting authentic Louis Vuitton is something that most people reading this site will either identify with or may be looking to learn about.

One of the aims of this site is to be able to show people that taking the time and effort to search for authentic items is well worth it in the end and that buying a replica is not only a waste of money but can also do some harm as well, especially as the making and sale of replica items is illegal! . Yes, it may be a slow process and you may feel that you will never get there in the end but you keep trying because you are determined to do it right.

I know the same feeling - and I also know the stomach churning feeling of buying whats turns out to be a fake piece and knowing I've been had! (To date I have a fake Multicolore Speedy - the result of a bait and switch - and two pairs of fake shoes - the results of not doing anywhere near enough research before buying. All of them are laughing at me from the dark corners of a closet! When my children are older and have finished using them for their dressing up games - there is going to be a new video clip loaded up onto the site - the burning of the fake Louis Vuitton items!)

Now that got me to thinking - "How can I present the human side to Louis Vuitton and their ranges, how can I make it more personal for those reading and wishing to learn?

The human touch, so to speak.

The most honest answer would have to be - ask people who are lovers of authentic Louis Vuitton about their collections, how they started, why they love them etc.

Armed with this startlingly excellent idea I approached a few people from the Authentic Louis vuitton Forum board and asked if they would be kind enough to do a sort of interview about themselves and their passion.

To my huge delight, most of them said yes!!

So, we arranged a few interviews and here they are. There is a superb cross selection of people here - all of them extremely friendly and helpful members of the forum, all of them with a fascinating story to tell and a love for authentic Louis Vuitton to pass on.

 Enjoy!

The first interview we have is with a lady called Adrineh. A hugely popular member of the forum she is also a Captain in the US Army with a killer ability and passion for finding some excellent Suhali pieces!

The second interview we have for you is with a lady called Irma. One of the mainstays of the Addicts forum - with the current unbeatable record for the number of posts. Always one of the first to congratulate people on their latest authentic Louis Vuitton purchases she is also happy to admit that seeing all their beautiful bags causes her no end of problems deciding which one to try and save for next!

The next interview we have for you is - once again - from a valued and respected member of the Addicts Forum board. Jinath also trades on eBay and has a truly enviable collection. With a lovely sense of humor and passion for Louis Vuitton, I think you'll definitely enjoy reading this interview as much as I did doing it.

Out fourth interview is with Angela. A long time admirer of authentic Louis Vuitton she started collecting just over a year ago. Stung by a couple of fuglies at the beginning she has an excellent tip for trying to reduce your chance of being caught out the same way.

The next interview is with a truly lively lady called Tonya. A recent "newbie" to collecting LV, she has admired it from afar for a number of years. She also has a great idea on how to punish those who sell fakes!

I'm also delighted to be able to include an interview with Jennifer, otherwise known to many as OM_Goddess. Administrator of the Authentic Louis Vuitton Addicts forum, she is an almost lifelong lover of Louis Vuitton and the author of an exceptionally good About Me page on Ebay. (She also has the most delightful answer to one of our guilt questions received to date!! You WILL laugh, I promise!)
