My affiliation with Louis Vuitton all started with my mom.

She is the most wonderful person in the world. Everything she does is so sweet and caring. With her around you would never go hungry.

Anyways, it is her 50th birthday. I want to do something truly nice for my mom. I know my mom loves purses and jewelry, the things a girl would like. I just got her a gold bangle for Mother's day. It was a bangle for 100$ so it was no big deal.

But I really wanted to get her something nice, so I went out to do some research. I was planning on buying a purse for her, so my friend and I went down to South Coast Plaza to look for something for my mom.

We went to all the stores that I could afford, Coach, Dooney, Burberry, but my friend told me "If you want to get her something really nice, get her a Louis Vuitton. That's what my dad usually gets for my mom." I said, "Ok, lets just take a look."

When I walked into the store, I knew I wanted to get her one. I thought it would be a nice thing to do for my mom. We ask to see one and the price is 500$. The price was a little steep because I was still in school. So I went back to Coach and got a regular purse. I was not satisfied.

I wanted to get her the Louis Vuitton. So I turned on my handy dandy computer and went to ebay to see what was available. Ok, i'm not stupid. I discarded all the new ones. It's not possible to get a new Louis Vuitton for a lower price so I bought a used one.

Even though it was used it was in good condition but it cost 300$. The bag comes and I am really excited. I knew she would love it. I showed my girl friend the next day. She looks at it and tells me she thinks its fake.

Even though she is a Coach girl, my friend borrows her mothers often and has come to be very keen on fakes.

My heart sank.

I did more research and come across MyPoupette. It proved it was a fake.

Even though I had been careful but not educated, I had got a fake. After reading up on information, I contacted the seller. The seller said she said that she thought it was real and had not gotten a second opinion since it was a gift. I doubted this story but the seller took it back, thankfully.

No harm done.

But I was still disappointed. I gave my mom the Coach and it worked out fine. Even though she enjoyed it I still would have loved to give her a Louis Vuitton. But I know that buying a Louis Vuitton on ebay is not smart. I will not try it anytime soon.
