You would be amazed at what “new” bags the knock off makers introduce to the range that even the designer has yet to dream up! The amount of times I have been on eBay and seen supposed authentic Louis Vuitton bags for sale that don’t even exist in the real world amazes me. A prime example would be the Louis Vuitton Multicolor Papillon. You will always be able to find at least three or four a day on ebay which is amazing - mainly because LV never made that style!!
If you carry one of those you are effectively screaming out to everyone “Look at me and my bag – it’s an awful fake so what does that say about me??”
If you also consider the high cost that many of these replicas now sell for then what is the difference in you buying an authentic pre owned item for the same cost? By doing so you are supporting the manufacturer, denying those associated to the crimes listed above from access to your money as well as ensuring you’re a buying a quality item that will last you a LOT longer than a replica would that also has a solid resale value, should you wish or need to sell it in the future.
