Louis Vuitton Multicolore Shirley
The Louis Vuitton Multicolore Shirley is a 2005 Spring line addition to the Louis Vuitton Multicolore range.
Described by Louis Vuitton as being an "original, young and pure" bag it certainly is a new and fresh style of bag in the LV range.
It's also fair to say it's a "slip" of a bag, coming in at a slimline 11.8 inches by 5 inches.
Using the now famous Murakami Multicolore pattern, the Louis Vuitton Multicolore Shirley is available in either black or white multicolore. The only difference in bags being that the white version comes with a ruby colored alcantara lining and the black has the "mole" grey alcantara lining.
Featuring a long and thin cowhide shoulder strap (which is not adjustable) and rolled cowhide trim edges, this should prove to be quite a robust and hardwearing bag.
The LV Shirley has already been featured in the latest LV adverts and magazines, held by their latest addition to the modelling ranks, Uma Thurman.
The Louis Vuitton Shirley is covered in multicolore touches, ranging from the vibrant colors to the golden metalware, fold over cowhide flap and spring lock closure down to the smaller touches, such as the cowhide leather strap holder on the front of the clutch / bag.
As you'd imagine, there are no interior pockets to speak of and space is a tad limited. However, this bag definitely falls into the eveningwear / glam an outfit role and is certainly not intended to be a workhorse for a day out and about.
Wherever you do take it though - you're sure to receive quite a few envious glances. Currently costing $840.00 as at March 2007, this slice of high fashion isn't going to break the bank, just a few hearts.
