The Louis Vuitton Damier Ribera - Two Bags in One?

The Louis Vuitton Ribera is an excellent example of how a style of designer handbag can appear to change, just by a simple increase in size.

Available in the Damier design of canvas, the Louis Vuitton Ribera comes in two different sizes, called the GM and the MM.

Both sizes come with rolled handles for comfort and durability. They also both have a double zippered top opening, making for easy access and ease of use.

Then the changes start to come into play.

The smaller of the two ribera sizes is the MM, measuring 13.5 inches long, 8 inches wide and 7.5 inches high.

When looking at both size bags together, the MM size is easy to distinguish as it has a larger Damier check pattern than the GM.

On the inside of the bag the MM has the Terracotta alcantara lining. There are also two pockets on the inside, a patch pocket on one side and a cell phone pocket on the other.

Price for the LV Ribera MM is currently around the $925.00 mark.

For the GM, there are a few differences.

A wider and squater looking bag - with a smaller Damier pattern check - it's sizes are 19 inches long, 11 inches wide and 12 inches high. Roomy!!

The lining is different from the MM, coming in a rich chocolate sari with just the one, zippered inside pocket.

Price wise, you'll be looking at slightly more than the MM at about $1,130.00 currently.
